Welcome to the Joyce Holms website. One of Scotland’s best selling crime
writers, Joyce Holms is widely known as an effective teacher of Creative
Writing. She gives workshops and classes to writing groups, readers’ groups,
schools and writers circles as well as humorous and entertaining talks
to organisations such as Rotary, Probus and Womens Guilds.
You may know
her best as the creator of the Fizz and Buchanan Mysteries. Her two detectives,
Fizz Fitzpatrick and Tam Buchanan are both Edinburgh lawyers and their
relationship supplies much of the humour that makes the books what they
are.
